ABOUT THE ROLE

Patrick Ta Beauty is looking for a high-performing, experienced Freelance Copywriter to join their team for a 6-month opportunity. This is a 40-hour-per-week remote position with potential for extension or conversion to full time.

Patrick Ta Beauty was founded in 2019 by celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta alongside his business partners Rima Minasyan and Avo Minasyan. The brand is rooted in Patrick’s decades of artistry and his signature red-carpet glow.  The brand launched with a mission to make red carpet artistry accessible to all – creating luxurious, easy-to-use formulas designed for both professionals and everyday beauty lovers. Patrick Ta Beauty is shaping the future of modern luxury beauty, pushing boundaries with pro-inspired innovation that meets consumer-friendly functionality.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Freelance Copywriter will craft clear, compelling, on-brand messaging to support marketing and e-commerce initiatives. 

• Develop monthly promotional and evergreen copy for website assets, emails, SMS, and Instagram Stories, adapting copy to each channel’s needs while maintaining consistency in messaging 

• Write, edit, and refine PDP copy for clarity, consistency, and tone of voice 

• Support Copywriter with product naming, shade naming, event collateral, and campaign messaging for new product launches 

• Collaborate with copywriter and creative team to ensure messaging and visual concepts work seamlessly together to meet the objective of each brief, considering audience and business priorities 

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS  

• 3+ years of copywriting experience working with beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands 

• A strong portfolio showcasing: 

• E-commerce copy (PDP, emails, subject lines, etc) 

• Product storytelling (taglines, social captions, etc) 

• Experience collaborating with designers and cross-functional partners 

• Ability to balance creativity with strategy in a fast-paced environment 

• Excellent grammar, clarity, and understanding of brand voice 
  
   

TO BE CONSIDERED: Please be prepared to share 2–3 writing samples that best show your work as a copywriter, especially examples where you captured a specific brand voice, wrote strong headlines or hooks, or adapted copy across multiple channels. Can be added in your portfolio.

Salary Range Opportunity:

• The hiring range for this role is $4,000-$5,000/monthly
• Payment Schedule: Monthly
• Benefits: Not Applicable at this time.
• Contract Terms: 3-6 months to start, with the possibility of extension.
• Type: Contract, full-time depending on project needs.
