Working at Worktank:

We are seeking an experienced, versatile Copywriter to craft scripts, messaging, and on-screen copy that bring client stories to life across video and live broadcast. 

In this position you will also: 

• Write and refine scripts for corporate videos, executive presentations, and live or virtual broadcasts. 

• Translate complex business topics and technical subject matter into clear, engaging language for a range of audiences. 

• Collaborate with producers, directors, and clients to shape messaging that serves both the creative vision and the business goal. 

• Develop supporting copy as needed, including teleprompter scripts, lower thirds, titles, show flow language, and promotional blurbs. 

• Incorporate client and stakeholder feedback across multiple review rounds while keeping the writing sharp and on-brand. 

This opportunity might be a good fit if you… 

• Have 3+ years of professional copywriting experience, ideally in corporate, brand, or broadcast contexts. 

• Can point to writing samples that show range, clarity, and a strong ear for voice. 

• Are comfortable writing to a brief, a deadline, and an executive audience.

• Can take dense or technical material and make it sound natural when spoken aloud.

• Communicate clearly and take feedback well without losing the thread of the writing.

Exceptional candidates also have… 

• Experience writing specifically for video, broadcast, or live events (scripts meant to be spoken, not just read).

• Familiarity with enterprise or tech-industry clients and their tone and terminology. 

• A sense for how copy works alongside visuals, motion, and audio.

• The ability to switch registers, from polished executive keynote to lighter, more conversational brand content.
