About the Role: We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and process-oriented accountant to join our Finance and Accounting Team!
As Plume’s Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling our Finance and Accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, a high-level of attention to detail, and a strong desire to improve processes. This will be an excellent opportunity for a candidate to learn and grow in their career as the company continues to scale up. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, preparing financial reports, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities: - Support the monthly close process with in-month and end-of-month activities - Manage input of journal entries - Perform monthly revenue reconciliation and posting - Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts - Perform all monthly bank reconciliations - Maintain weekly input of bank transactions - Perform daily Ramp and BILL entries - Assist with annual tax preparation and documentation requests - Assist with annual audit process - Identify opportunities for process improvement - Contribute to developing and implementing best practice accounting procedures - Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Director of Finance Must Have: - A strong understanding and appreciation of the trans experience.
