Job Description

Salary: $54,300 - 205,800 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex AI, including Cortex Agents, Cortex Analyst, and Cortex Search.
• We need at least 3 years of experience as a machine learning engineer or scientist, with production-scale model deployment and monitoring, alerting, automated bug filing, and auditing.
• We need at least 3 years of experience applying computer science foundations, including computer architecture, systems engineering, and programming.
• We need at least 1 year of experience with distributed computing systems and architecture, which may include big data, high-performance computing, engineering simulations, scientific computing, grid and cloud computing, or distributed networks.
• We need at least 1 year of experience building and deploying AI/ML software in a cloud environment.
• We require a bachelors degree or equivalent experience: 12 years of work experience in total, or 6 years if holding an associates degree.
• We value strong written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to explain complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• We need strong client-facing abilities in a consulting environment.
• We look for strong cross-functional collaboration skills across internal and client teams.

• Bonus experience includes proficiency in Python and Python-based AI/ML frameworks, such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

• Bonus experience includes familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, R, and SQL.
• An MS or PhD in a related field such as computer science or engineering is preferred.

• We formulate real-world challenges into practical, efficient, and scalable AI and machine learning solutions.
• We develop machine learning algorithms, models, and computational systems, and build scalable data pipelines to support training and production through DevOps and MLOps.
• We customize and apply deep learning and generative AI models for a variety of use cases based on business needs, data availability, and infrastructure requirements, including edge devices and HPC.
• We research and develop new AI and high-performance computing algorithms, models, simulations, and applications to solve complex business problems at client sites.
• We work with large-scale datasets and apply data preprocessing techniques to ensure high-quality training and production inputs.
• We implement and maintain efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms for models and knowledge using appropriate tools.
• We help demonstrate the business value of model approaches.
• We collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, including users, use case representatives, business owners, engineers, architects, and UI designers, to deliver end-to-end project goals and production integration.
• Travel may be required, with the amount varying from 0% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
