Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a short-term 4-week assignment. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions that help patients improve functional abilities, independence, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Assist with adaptive equipment training and functional mobility activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support rehabilitation goals.
• Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License/Certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current BLS certification preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, post-acute care, or outpatient therapy experience preferred.
