Job Description

Salary: $50,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements:

  • We need at least 8 years of product management experience, including ownership and delivery of enterprise software products, digital platforms, or technology-enabled business solutions.
  • We need at least 8 years leading products, major capabilities, platforms, or new business initiatives from concept through launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
  • We need at least 2 years of hands-on experience building, launching, or managing AI-native products in day-to-day product management work.
  • We need at least 2 years of experience defining and delivering products using large language models, AI agents, retrieval systems, tool integrations, workflow automation, or other generative AI technologies.
  • We need at least 2 years of experience evaluating and managing AI product performance, including model capability, limitations, reliability, cost, risk mitigation, and operational scalability.
  • We need at least 8 years of experience partnering closely with software engineers, UX designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality production software.
  • We need at least 8 years of experience conducting customer discovery, user research, stakeholder interviews, or market analysis to identify and validate product opportunities.
  • We need at least 8 years of experience simplifying complex business processes, workflows, or user experiences into scalable product solutions.
  • We need at least 8 years of experience defining product strategy, setting roadmaps, prioritizing investments, and making tradeoff decisions in evolving or ambiguous environments.
  • We need at least 8 years of experience using quantitative and qualitative data, including customer feedback, product analytics, experimentation, and market insights, to guide product decisions.
  • We need at least 8 years of experience contributing to commercial product outcomes, including customer adoption, value realization, pricing strategy, revenue growth, market expansion, or business case development.
  • We need at least 8 years of experience presenting product strategy, business cases, roadmap decisions, and performance metrics to executive leaders, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • We need at least 2 years of experience using AI-powered productivity tools, copilots, analytics platforms, or automation solutions to improve product management effectiveness and decision-making.
  • We need at least 8 years of experience working independently with significant ownership and accountability in fast-paced, ambiguous, or high-growth environments.
  • We need a bachelors degree or equivalent, with at least 12 years of work experience; alternatively, an associates degree with at least 6 years of work experience.
Responsibilities:
  • We will uncover high-value customer problems by building a deep understanding of the industries, users, workflows, and business challenges our product serves.
  • We will work directly with customers, design partners, domain experts, sales teams, and industry leaders to identify where our product can create repeatable value.
  • We will distinguish true market pull from one-off requests, internal enthusiasm, or services-led opportunities.
  • We will define product vision, strategy, and near-term product thesis for our area.
  • We will determine what the product should do, who it is for, why it will win, and what we will intentionally not build.
  • We will turn ambiguous opportunities into focused product bets that a small team can validate and ship quickly.
  • We will make tradeoffs across customer value, technical feasibility, commercial potential, speed, quality, and strategic alignment.
  • We will build AI-native products that reflect the strengths and limits of modern AI systems rather than layering AI superficially onto existing workflows.
  • We will define how agents reason, act, use tools, interact with users, manage uncertainty, and escalate when human judgment is needed.
  • We will partner with engineering and design to shape product behavior, evaluations, quality standards, failure handling, trust mechanisms, and human-in-the-loop experiences.
  • We will lead zero-to-one product development within a small cross-functional team from early discovery through prototype, validation, production release, and broader launch.
  • We will write clear product briefs, requirements, decision documents, and acceptance criteria without unnecessary process overhead.
  • We will use prototypes and working software to learn rather than depending mainly on presentations, long planning cycles, or abstract market research.
  • We will maintain a high standard for end-to-end customer experience, not just feature completion.
  • We will ensure the product is intuitive, coherent, and suitable for the complexity of the workflow.
  • We will define success through clear product outcomes, behavioral expectations, evaluation criteria, and quality thresholds.
  • We will treat AI output quality, user trust, and operational reliability as core product responsibilities.
  • We will validate demand and commercial value with design partners and early customers.
  • We will test whether the product solves a meaningful enough problem to earn sustained usage and budget.
  • We will partner with commercial and industry leaders on positioning, packaging, pricing, routes to market, and launch strategy.
  • We will distinguish between customer interest, pilot activity, product adoption, and durable market demand.
  • We will own product outcomes after launch, including goals, success measures, and key results.
  • We will use product data, customer behavior, qualitative feedback, support signals, evaluations, and commercial performance to assess what is working.
  • We will own adoption, usage, retention, customer value, and product quality, not just roadmap delivery.
  • We will use AI tools as a core part of our day-to-day product management workflow.
  • We will apply AI to customer research, synthesis, competitive analysis, product exploration, prototyping, data analysis, documentation, and decision support.
  • We will build repeatable context, prompts, workflows, and tools that increase our leverage and improve the effectiveness of the broader product team.
  • We will remain accountable for the quality of the decisions produced by AI-assisted work.
  • We will raise the product bar by helping the team separate adequate work from exceptional work.
  • We will create clarity when the team faces ambiguity, competing priorities, or incomplete information.
  • We will help other product managers strengthen customer thinking, prioritization, product judgment, and AI-native practices.
  • We will contribute to the shared principles, standards, tools, and operating model of the broader product organization.

More:

We are building a new portfolio of agentic software products in industries we have helped transform for decades. We bring deep industry expertise, trusted relationships with many of the worlds largest organizations, and direct access to the complex workflows and problems that matter most to them. We are assembling small, highly capable product teams with autonomy to move quickly, make decisions, and own outcomes from early prototype through production and scale. This is a permanent product management role, not a consulting delivery, program management, project management, product owner, or forward-deployed position. The role is hybrid and based in Seattle, Mountain View, San Francisco, San Jose, or New York, with regular in-person collaboration with the local product team and periodic travel to meet customers, design partners, or other product teams.
